Job Overview:
The Infrastructure Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
End to End understanding of Data Center IT components that include End User Computing, Telephony/Voice, Network, Storage and Distributed systems
Thorough knowledge of Server Lifecycle
Thorough understanding of Operating Systems and Virtual/Physical Server environments
Thorough knowledge of virtual environments, network, and related technology applications, large scale enterprise data centers, databases, middleware components, storage, cloud
Understanding of cloud technologies (VMware, IaaS, PaaS, ESX, MaaS, OraaS, MSaaS), and regulatory requirements
Ability to successfully drive and deliver large, complex, & transformative technology initiatives that impacted multiple LOBs
Identification of risks, which affect program and project deliverables with follow through on mitigation, resolution, and path to green
Ability to persuade, carry influence and rally diverse interest toward common goals
Ability to manage a virtual/diverse team through continuous timely infrastructure deliverables
Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Exceptional presentation skills. Ability to present to senior levels of management (e.g. Director, MD) and to facilitate discussions at the senior stakeholder level
Execution oriented with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to lead strategic planning sessions challenging the status quo where appropriate and drive decision making process
Qualifications:
6 + years of experience in infrastructure service delivery .
At least 3 years experience in Jira.
End to End understanding of Data Center IT components that include End User Computing, Telephony/Voice, Network, Storage and Distributed systems
Thorough knowledge of Server Lifecycle
Thorough understanding of Operating Systems and Virtual/Physical Server environments

Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
