- B.S. in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in English language — knowledge of structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Electrical design and component selection.
- Ability to read and draw electrical schematics and layouts.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems both in person and remotely.
- Demonstrated Physical Abilities: Visits to customer locations may require negotiating through an industrial facility, including conveyor systems requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating screen guards, catwalks, and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs.
- Execute electrical design of a battery powered industrial automated guided vehicle and autonomous mobile robot according to established requirements.
- Execute design within budget and scope.
- Define scope of work and description of operation.
- Calculate equipment performance requirements and capabilities.
- Create control and electrical system concept documentation.
- Create control and electrical system design specifications.
- Create control and electrical system schematics and component layouts.

- Design of automation equipment, including: Panel design and component layout; Power distribution; Interface with control devices (PLC, industrial computers, motor controllers, etc.); Harness design; Wire routing; Interface with I/O and peripheral devices.

Daifuku completes new AGV factory in Japan.
ICM is teaming up with Daifuku, which will supply the baggage handling equipment such as the sorting system, conveyors and carousels.
Daifuku introduced an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) that included cranes for both single-deep and double-deep storage.
Daifuku Services America Corp., an arm of an operations company focused on running and maintaining baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges in the U.S., reported its plan to lay off 38 workers in Carrollton.
CHARLOTTE - Thirty-three workers will be out of a job because Daifuku Services America filed a notice with the state that the company is closing its facility on Old Dowd Road.
