Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates some knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industry
  • Understands energy market fundamentals, trends, and economics across the industry including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
  • Knowledge of upstream, midstream and downstream assets and development
  • Willingness to collaborate with multiple functions across the enterprise
  • Ability to gain consensus amongst peers and leadership
Responsibilities
  • Develops relationships with external customers to determine needs; assesses requirements and identifies responses to non-standard requests
  • Conducts research and analysis to identify, evaluate, recommend, and pursue new growth opportunities with existing business and other segments identified in the strategic plan
  • Benchmarks post-transaction operating results to acquisition pro forma and assists in development of acquisition long-range forecasts
  • Recommends and challenges on basin, customer and competitor intelligence based off tools and publications, and communicates with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions
  • Develops and delivers presentations across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Other duties as assigned
