THE OPPORTUNITY:
HUB’s Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, you will be amongst some of the industry’s top talent to help guide and support our customer’s needs and provide them with innovative solutions.
The Assistant Account Manager is a critical position supporting customer service teams in all phases of service. This position directly affects both employee and customer satisfaction through the professional, accurate and timely execution of assigned work.
Quickly identifies the requirements of the assigned task and executes steps to complete the task with accuracy and speed. Tasks include items such as:
Prepare and/or issue documents per customer or service team member requests (e.g., certificates, auto ID cards, Evidence of Insurance)
Ensure service items are completed to resolution (e.g., policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, loss runs)
Check policy documents
Mail client documentation
Assist in preparation of client presentation documents (submissions, proposals)
Provide quoting support and order underwriting support documents (e.g., motor vehicle reports, property detail reports, etc.)
Ensure broker management system is updated with detail and documentation (policy documents, emails, mail attachments)
Respond to inquiries (e.g., accounting, billing, service)
Process non-complex policy changes
Support download process
Policy document retrieval from carrier websites
May perform a triage role on behalf of the team: review incoming requests and assign to individual queues based on priority and skill level of associate
The expected salary range for this position is $16.15/hour to $28.84/hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, education and licensing certifications, geographic location, approved salary budget as well as the specific position’s business line, complexity, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which includes health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, eligible bonuses and commissions for full-time positions (30 hours or more).
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You are perfect for this opportunity if you
Hold a high school diploma/GED (college degree strongly preferred)
Have at least 1-2 years of related commercial insurance experience
Are currently licensed in good standing
Have the confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
Are computer literate - Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
