Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent field work experience.
  • Educational background in materials and methods of construction.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience with a framing and drywall subcontractor preferred.
  • Experience with high-tech and/or cleanroom construction projects preferred.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams); general understanding of working within a computer network.
  • Experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid estimating software preferred.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore, Prolog, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks.
  • Training in design and construction document reading, specifications, and survey theory and techniques.
  • Experience organizing technical data in a clear and accurate method. Familiarity with CSI specification system for construction.
  • Strong field and personnel management experience.
  • Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to maintain a cooperative and professional attitude under pressure.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work amid frequent interruptions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to develop solid interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of trade and craft professionals in the field.
  • Must be a strong team player able to collaborate across departments and all levels of leadership.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate extended hours or off-shift work as required by construction sequencing and project schedules.
  • Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location.
Responsibilities
  • Manage self-perform projects from start to finish.
  • Secure vendor and sub tier buyouts.
  • Work closely with Project Superintendent and Project Directors to manage construction of high-tech cleanrooms and associated architectural components.
  • Directly manage project budget, buyout process, and material & labor forecasting.
  • Lead change order management including material takeoffs, vendor/supplier pricing, and labor budgeting.
  • Manage subcontractor contracts and contract modifications.
  • Generate monthly client billings.
  • Help manage project staffing and craft resource planning.
  • Maintain strong client and designer relationships throughout the project.
  • Support business development efforts—evaluate potential projects and clients; interact with developers, owners, architects, subconsultants, and subcontractors.
