Role Overview:

RTX is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join the Enterprise Services Cybersecurity team.  In this high-impact role, you will spearhead critical cybersecurity initiatives – driving projects from bold idea to tangible results.  This role will manage security projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver strategic value from ideation through value realization.  If you are passionate about cybersecurity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for turning vision into reality, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do:

• Proactively manage project scope, cost, schedule and risk for assigned projects, ensuring every project is delivered with precision and impact.
• Maintain up-to-date project data in Planview and project management tools, ensuring seamless tracking and execution.
• Drive powerful engagement, from daily standups to executive-level reviews, to rally and align stakeholders
• Develop metrics to enable success and ensure progress is communicated regularly to key stakeholders and leadership.  
• Work across complex enterprise cross functional teams – build relationships and ensure alignment from start to finish.
• Identify roadblocks early, remove impediments, and escalate critical issues before they impact project success.
• Craft compelling, executive-level communications that tell the story of project progress, challenges and wins. 
• Travel Requirements: Travel is estimated to be 10%, and may vary as required for key events or training.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• 7+ years project and/or program experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

• Ability to interface directly with senior leadership to positively influence and lead culture change
• Ability to execute operationally with the tenacity to push through obstacles and realize the desired impact in a timely manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced user of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience working under dynamic and uncertain business conditions
• A degree in a cybersecurity, project management or IT related discipline
• Planview Experience
• CORE Professional Certification a plus
• Jira Experience
• Industry standard Project and/or Portfolio Management Certifications
• Strong leadership skills and experience with cross functional teams
• Strong communication and influence skills including executive presentations
• Demonstrated experience managing matrixed resources and multiple complex engagements simultaneously

Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
