Requirements
  • Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a technology company environment required
  • Able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential information required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Working knowledge of Zoom, Google Workplace and SaaS Management (e.g., Productiv, Blissfully, Xylo) preferred
Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with existing and new vendors, including Value Added Resellers as well as manufacturers
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure we have an effective end-to-end procurement process including sourcing and evaluation frameworks, negotiation and contracting, and renewals
  • Apply strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements and process efficiencies including understanding OpenGov demand for software/services, working with end-users to consolidate needs and working to consolidate spend across different departments and suppliers
  • Participate in monthly Meetings with Stakeholder Leadership, Functional Team Review reporting groups to ensure initiatives are completed
  • Ensure we maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software utilizing an Asset Management system and a streamlined procurement process, by using skills in asset management and OpenGov tooling (i.e., SaaS Management)
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to assist in the procurement process for all software entering the corporate environment
  • Act as a point of contact throughout the software procurement process, working with a variety of stakeholders, to ensure business goals are met
  • Assist with Procurement Requisition generation in Airbase, help track stakeholder approvals and Vendor contact interface
  • Serve as liaison between Procurement, IT, Legal, Finance and leadership stakeholders on sourcing initiatives and spend tracking
  • Participate in cross-functional teams under the direction of the Strategic Sourcing Manager to facilitate RFP administration
  • Serve as the single point of contact (customers and suppliers) during RFP process leading pre-bid meetings, responding to supplier inquiries, etc
  • Update stakeholders of project plans and status. Identify potential suppliers (including diverse suppliers), evaluating qualifications and internal support for inclusion
  • Develop and customize various Excel templates such as RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluation to Identify areas of cost inefficiencies
  • Assist with constructing and managing Total-Cost-of-Ownership templates, pricing models and financial reports to help measure & rationalize bidder pricing
