Responsibilities:
- Help teams building advanced defense systems choose their future software architecture.
- Explain RTI technology to executives, architects, program managers and developers
- Develop Proof-of-Concept prototypes and demonstrations with prospects
- Develop sales strategies with your account manager teammate
- Communicate customer technical requirements to Product Management and engineering to help evolve our technology
- Join our active online developer community forum as an RTI and domain expert
- Communicate RTI’s technology in published technical articles and speaking engagements
Requirements:
- Must-haves:
- BS or higher in engineering or computer science, MS preferred
- 5+ years in application-facing technical professional services or sales
- Experience with one or more of: C/C++/Python/Java/.NET
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of OS and network concepts (UDP, Multicast, etc.)
- Self-motivated sales attitude, comfortable on a team and without day-to-day direction
- Useful additional experience is a plus:
- Messaging or high-performance distributed systems
- Embedded system
- ROS2, JMS, AMQP, MQTT and Web Services
