Requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise application development experience of which 5+ years is focused Salesforce development
  • In-depth knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and JavaScript
  • Skilled at integrating with external systems using JSON, XML, REST and SOAP based web services
  • Understanding of relational databases and object-oriented development using SQL or Java
  • Proficiency in related web technologies of HTML and CSS
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce security models
  • The implementation of Flows is included in your design assessment to identify what components are best suited with Apex code vs. declarative configuration
  • Ability to apply best practices and design patterns that conform to standardization and limits of the platform
  • A passion to solve complex technical problems related to big data sets and refactoring existing code to meet modern development standards
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform's declarative capabilities
  • Experience using, administering, and maintaining Salesforce in a Sales / Customer Success Operations with demonstrable experience designing processes and automations
  • Clear communicator with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Your modernized development tooling includes the use of VS Code, source control, proper branching strategies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in working with Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • One or more of the following certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Lightning Experience Specialist (Trailhead Super Badge)
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of our growing Salesforce developer community
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams on requirements and specifications for bug fixes, enhancements, and project work
  • Provide day-to-day operational production support. Identify problems and perform corrective actions
  • Proactively identify issues (tech debt, data inconsistencies etc.) and work with cross-functional teams to schedule the work, resolve and/or improve
  • Monitor system performance and user activity to make improvement recommendations
  • Develop customized features and frameworks to support critical business functions meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
  • Proactively identify and mange continuous improvement efforts and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance; conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving requirements
  • Communicate with project managers, business partners and other developers to design cohesive development strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements, customer objectives and innovate ways to meet goals successfully
  • Interact directly with business partners, managers, and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and automation
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows
