We are recruiting for 2025 Summer Interns for KKR’s Technology business in our New York office. While the role will differ slightly across teams, interns will be involved in various projects, attend speaker events, and have the opportunity to showcase your work to technology leaders at the end of the program. Successful completion of the internship program, along with the attainment of your degree in good standing, may provide an opportunity to receive a full-time offer to join KKR, conditional on your performance as an intern and the availability of openings.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This is a 10-week in-person internship that will take place from June 2 – August 8, 2025. You will work with one of the teams outlined below for the duration of the internship and will attend a 1-day orientation that provides an overview of KKR and alternative investments. You will work on various projects, attend educational and network-building programming, and have the opportunity to showcase your work to technology leaders. Successful completion of the internship program, along with the attainment of your degree in good standing, may provide an opportunity to receive a full-time offer to join KKR, conditional on your performance as an intern and the availability of openings.

TEAMS YOU MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR

• Investment Systems
  • Investment Systems engineers all aspects of the Investment Lifecycle across an array of asset classes.
• Client Systems
  • Client Systems engineers and supports all aspects of the Client Lifecycle to ensure a world-class experience that delights KKR’s clients.
• Operations Systems
  • Operations Systems engineers and supports all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations systems and is responsible for creating a reliable data backbone for the firm. Teams within Operations Systems include Data, AI, & Analytics, Reference Data, Accounting Operations, and Investment Operations.
• Enterprise Systems
  • Enterprise Systems engineers and supports all aspects of the systems that underpin KKR’s corporate operations and is responsible for creating a standard corporate operating platform leveraged internally and by our subsidiaries. Teams within Enterprise Systems include Corporate Systems (incl Digital Workplace, Robotics Process & Automation, and Legal & Compliance) and Finance Systems.
• Infrastructure
  • Infrastructure is responsible for creating the common global infrastructure backbone that enables us to operate seamlessly across offices and regions.
• Information Security
  • Information Security is responsible for safeguarding the firm, wrapping all our technology and services under a connected security cover and alignment with a standard set of policies.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS 

• Currently attending a university in North America with an outstanding academic record
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field with an anticipated graduation in December 2025 – June 2026
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and communicating ideas
• Proficiency with Java, Python, c/c++
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act both strategically and tactically with exceptional attention to detail
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
• Team-player who enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment and is willing to pitch-in when needed
• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in financial services and alternative investments
