What this opportunity involves:
Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for retail property management? Join our team at Greensborough Plaza as an Operations Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our thriving shopping centre.
As the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising daily activities to ensure optimal centre operations, with a focus on maintenance, capital works, and deliveries. Your primary objectives will be to maintain the health, safety, and security of all visitors and occupants, enhance the presentation and performance of the property, and implement client strategies.
An overview of the role:
• Implement and manage risk management programs
• Oversee capital works projects
• Drive sustainability initiatives
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
• Supervise security and cleaning contractors
• Manage maintenance schedules and budgets
• Coordinate tenancy fit-outs and landlord works
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Be on call 24/7 for emergency situations
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in retail property management
• Trade qualifications (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
• Proven experience in supervising building services and contractors
• Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• First Aid Certificate
• Professional demeanour and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to make decisions and implement within delegated authority
• Thorough knowledge of property functions, including accrual accounting
• Flexibility to meet business and client needs
