ABOUT PROPRIETARY RESEARCH
On our proprietary research team—Market Intelligence—you’ll partner with our Discretionary Investment Professionals and Compliance team to focus on companies, industries, and the broader economy through deep fundamental research and applying data science and engineering techniques to alternative data sets. You’ll work alongside a talented team with diverse skills, backgrounds, and perspectives. Our industry researchers, product managers, and data scientists and engineers work together to build compliant research products that answer the questions our investment professionals care about most.
ROLE SUMMARYWithin Market Intelligence, our Data Sourcing & Strategy team takes a research approach to identifying potentially impactful alternative data sources of today and tomorrow by partnering with our investment teams, Compliance, and external data partners. We are looking for a Data Sourcing & Strategy Operations Analyst to collaborate with our team, colleagues across the firm, and external vendors to provide essential support required to source data and research that may ultimately be used by our investment teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Assist the Data Sourcing & Strategy team in managing relationships with data and research providers, including facilitating requested service changes, ensuring internal use of services follows the firm’s contracts and obligations, and staying current on the evolving data market
Help manage the operations workflow for the Data Sourcing & Strategy team by working closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other internal stakeholders
Maintain and manage the Data Sourcing & Strategy knowledgebase by developing an understanding of system architecture
Build and manage internal relationships by assisting with questions and requests from investment teams, working closely with Data Compliance, and supporting new hire on-boarding
Coordinate new content provider on-boarding and contract/subscription renewal processes. This may include working with investment teams to assess content requirements, negotiating business terms, and coordinating approvals

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
