Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Helps with the creation, coordination, execution, and growth of complex educational programs for the Division of Acute Care Surgery. Offers support to programs that are expected to experience significant change, expansion, or evolution over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Helps to develop program plans, goals, and objectives in collaboration with the outreach team and area leadership.
• Provides professional and/or technical assistance in the execution of day-to-day program activities.
• Communicates within and across the outreach team to maximize information sharing around progress, program needs, and accomplishments.
• The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.
Specific Responsibilities
·Helps to facilitate and coordinate all American College of Surgeons courses and any additional courses promulgated by the outreach team.
·Helps to facilitate all trauma related courses, and injury prevention courses taught to the public, i.e., Stop the Bleed, fall prevention.
·Helps to facilitate and coordinate all anatomy lab activities to include those with our military partners.
·Helps with the responsibilities of facilitating the SMART military rotations.
·Aids in all PI educational activities across the Vanderbilt enterprise.
·Assists with TCCC/TECC courses as needed.
·Maintains a working knowledge of evidence-based trauma related topics.
·Maintains licensure and all pertinent certifications to be clinically able to perform to their specific level of licensure and Vanderbilt Standard of Care.
·Assist in all aspects of the Trauma Survivors Network activities.
Assists with the organization, and maintenance of all training materials.
