Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, education, human services, social work, or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Two years of experience in a human service-related field, including knowledge of relevant service systems.
  • Demonstrable expertise in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, Serve Tracker, SUDS, and other funder reporting software.
  • Completion of agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintenance of credentialing standards thereafter.
  • A Colorado driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and state-mandated automobile insurance.
  • Ability to serve individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ideologies, and religions respectfully and professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse, multicultural team environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and conduct strategic reviews to verify adherence to grant requirements across programs, document findings, and track follow-up actions.
  • Evaluate program processes, documentation, and data quality; identify errors, non-compliance, and emerging risks; and coordinate timely remediation.
  • Monitor outcomes and compliance indicators, notify program leadership of non-compliance or at-risk areas, and initiate improvement planning when needed.
  • Conduct monitoring visits and formal site checks of organizational and community partner or subrecipient sites.
  • Update forms, procedures, checklists, and guidance when funder requirements, regulations, workflows, or program information change.
  • Build and refine forms, dashboards, reports, and data systems with program staff and stakeholders to improve data accuracy, reliability, usability, and compliance.
  • Implement documentation and measurement processes for new or evolving programs and verify that collected data meets quality and reporting standards.
  • Train program staff on strategic review procedures, data collection protocols, system use, documentation standards, and corrective-action expectations.
  • Communicate approved data sources, definitions, reporting timelines, and usage guidance for evaluation, program review, and funder reporting.
  • Participate in Program Evaluation and Program Review committees and provide quality-assurance findings, trend analysis, and recommendations.
  • Monitor grant spending and supporting documentation to promote timely, allowable, and accurate use of funds.
  • Communicate spending, allocation, documentation, and compliance warning signs to the Program Manager and Principal Analyst.
  • Partner with Accounting to identify program-specific training needs and incorporate relevant financial topics into quality-assurance check-ins and staff guidance.
  • Discuss financial review areas with directors and senior directors and integrate priority items into strategic review agendas.
  • Provide standardized templates, checklists, and periodic financial-health snapshots to program leadership.
  • Review and improve kitchen and nutrition-service workflows, forms, checklists, and documentation for meal production, meal counts, delivery, sanitation, food safety, and inventory control.
  • Conduct scheduled kitchen observations and process reviews to assess adherence to approved procedures, funder requirements, food-safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Review production records, temperature logs, sanitation records, inventory records, meal-count documentation, delivery records, and other supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
  • Identify operational risks, workflow gaps, documentation issues, and training needs with kitchen leadership and staff and develop corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of corrective-action plans resulting from internal reviews, kitchen inspections, funder monitoring, customer feedback, or external audits.
  • Analyze trends in food waste, inventory use, meal production, service delivery, and customer feedback and share findings with program leadership.
  • Maintain working knowledge of kitchen operations, food-service documentation, inventory management, meal-production processes, supply-chain practices, and nutrition-program compliance requirements.
  • Provide quality-assurance support to Congregate Dining, Meals on Wheels, and other nutrition services.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through internal systems, surveys, complaints, compliments, and other feedback channels.
  • Maintain, analyze, and visualize DRCOG annual survey data; identify trends and communicate findings to program and organizational leadership.
  • Develop and implement a consistent quality-assurance check-in process and review results to identify strengths, risks, training needs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Co-design and refine customer-service monitoring approaches for programs without a recurring DRCOG survey.
  • Track and report satisfaction and service-quality trends to inform training, process improvements, resource decisions, and strategic priorities.
  • Complete requested reports and projects accurately and within established timelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Four years of experience in a human service-related field.
  • Two years of training experience and experience working within related human service programs.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid billing and implementation.
