Requirements
  • At least three (3) or more years of responsible experience in a moderately complex office or business setting involving the processing of financial, administrative, or legal documents.
  • Possession of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent life or work experience.
  • Any combination of education and experience that supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Responsibilities
  • Logging court events in real time using specific software applications and a computer.
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and communicating them to the judge or judicial staff.
  • Generating case documents and preparing them for signature.
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Entering information on electronic case records, including scheduling next appearances and scanning documents.
  • Managing exhibits received during trial until turned over to the exhibit clerk or returned to the appropriate party.
  • Attending meetings and serving on committees while taking and disbursing minutes.
  • Providing access to justice services within the community and ensuring timely navigation of cases through the court system.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience providing direct administrative support to one or more persons.
  • Experience using a computer for data entry, scheduling, and to manage and maintain records; experience should be within the past five years.
  • Experience maintaining focus and accuracy during interruptions, distractions, or noise.
  • Experience ensuring the accuracy of forms, memos, or other documents.
  • Experience working in a court or legal environment is desirable but not required.
