Responsibilities
  • Prioritize, oversee, and review daily transaction flows, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures; prepare journal entries and reconciliations; and issue timely, audit-ready financial statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions and processes.
  • Act as the point of control for accounting transaction discrepancies and transactional issues.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
  • Identify areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies involving team structure, workflow, cross-functional collaboration, and system changes.
  • Support the financial planning and analysis function and annual planning process by providing financial data, key performance indicators, and analysis of revenue and spending.
  • Assist with domestic and international accounting operations and support the close process to issue timely and accurate financial statements.
