Responsibilities
  • Support on the Firm’s communications on ESG and sustainability, including management of annual ESG Report and UN PRI submission
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations to prepare investor communications (primarily Global Private Equity)
  • Lead additional firmwide ESG reporting and framework collaboration efforts
  • Build the reporting vehicles to update key audiences on Bain Capital’s approach to ESG
  • Work closely with a wide variety of internal stakeholders spanning the firm’s business units and geographies, including with deal teams, portfolio teams and investor relations team
  • Contribute to ESG integration across private markets investment strategies, identifying innovations and tools that help drive impact
  • Research select ESG topics that are priorities for the Firm and business units
  • Work with Global Private Equity and individual portfolio companies as needed to drive ESG performance
  • Contribute to ESG measurement and tracking approach, including data collection process and improvement initiatives
  • Support development of events and forums on sustainability for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and portfolio companies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree; strong academic credentials (Masters Degree is a plus)
  • 4-7 years post undergraduate experience; management consulting, financial services, or sustainability background is a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of strong impact in organization
  • Superior written, project and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interface successfully and collaboratively with numerous internal stakeholders
  • Experience working with senior management
