About The Role

As an innovative startup at the forefront of AI-enabled devices, with a focus on our groundbreaking product, the AI Pin, we are actively searching for a visionary and forward-looking Vice President of AI. This leadership position holds a critical role in defining the trajectory of our products and services, focused on developing unparalleled and transformative experiences within the realm of artificial intelligence.

What You Might Do

Lead all artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and computer vision (CV) departments, setting strategic direction and defining clear objectives aligned with the company’s vision.
Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within cross functional teams.
Collaborate closely with the Co-Founders and other executives to integrate AI strategies across the company.
Collaborate extensively with the design and engineering teams to develop cutting-edge AI features and experiences for the AI Pin and other products.
Ensure that product development is aligned with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and CV.
Drive the ideation and creation of new AI experiences that are both innovative and commercially viable.
Oversee R&D initiatives in AI, ML and CV, ensuring they contribute to the company’s strategic goals.
Establish partnerships with academic and research institutions to support them in the advancement of AI technologies.
Build and manage a high-performing team of AI experts, data scientists, and engineers.
Cultivate a learning environment that encourages continuous professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, CV, or related fields.
Proven experience in a leadership role within AI, ML, and CV.
Strong track record in developing AI-driven products and solutions.
Deep understanding of current AI, ML, and CV technologies and trends.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.

Salary range: $290,000 - $390,000

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)

The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
