Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with intelligence planning
  • Experience with joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
  • Experience supporting, advising, and briefing senior defense officials
  • Experience developing high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, or Annex Bs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with analysis, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with analysis
Responsibilities
  • develop Operation Plans (OPLANs) and Contingency Plans (CONPLANs), intelligence staff packages, and other intel products
  • help your client understand the theater's operational environment
  • explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources such as SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and MASINT
  • validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for OPLANs or CONPLANs and senior military decision-makers
  • provide time-critical recommendations, often under pressure
  • share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring
