Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Automotive Manufacturing processes for Body in White, Paint and Final Assembly, and the role of Product Lifecycle Management solutions to sustain their feasibility
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in creating and configuring collaborative structures in Manufacturing Process Planner such as manufacturing-centric engineering product structures, bill of processes and tooling/resource trees
- Defining, developing and managing standard component and tool libraries using Teamcenter Classification
- Modeling process and plant data (advanced structures and process-specific datasets) in Manufacturing Process Planner for analysis in integrated tools like Factory CAD and Process Simulate
- Gathering detailed business requirements from process/assembly/tooling/simulation engineers, performing a gap analysis (existing and ideal PLM-based), proposing solution options with proof-of-concept/prototype demonstrations, obtaining business buy-off on a functional specification document and creating a detailed solution design document for the development team
Responsibilities
- Work with Teamcenter Manufacturing (TCM)
- Create and configure collaborative structures in Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP) including manufacturing-centric engineering product structures, bill of processes and tooling/resource trees
- Define, develop and manage standard component and tool libraries using Teamcenter Classification
- Model process and plant data in Manufacturing Process Planner for analysis using Factory CAD and Process Simulate
- Gather detailed business requirements from process/assembly/tooling/simulation engineers, perform gap analysis between existing and ideal PLM-based processes, propose solution options with proof-of-concept or prototype demonstrations, obtain business approval on a functional specification document, and create a detailed solution design document for the development team
