Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of transportation and transit planning concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of FTA and/or FDOT regulations, policies, and procedures
  • AICP preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Expertise in ArcGIS Pro and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with other transit planning tools
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Support a range of transit operations and planning projects
  • Use/oversee ArcGIS and other analytical tools
  • Oversee data collection, field observations, and technical project components
  • Prepare/review written summaries of technical analyses and presentation materials
  • Coordinate technical work and contribute to agency and stakeholder engagement
  • Serve as a liaison with key clients to coordinate projects
  • Mentor, guide, and develop other staff
