Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst, data analyst, consultant, financial auditor, or in a similar role with a focus on reporting and reconciliation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested formulas)
Responsibilities
  • Data Preparation and Management: Gather, organize, and validate financial data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP platforms, internal databases), ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies to maintain clean, consistent, and accurate data sets.
  • Maintain financial databases to ensure information is up-to-date, properly formatted, and securely stored.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management summaries and variance analyses.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Excel, Adaptive Insights) to highlight key metrics.
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests for finance, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather and validate financial data, ensuring that all data used in financial analysis and reporting is accurate and consistent.
  • Data Reconciliation and Integrity: Perform regular data reconciliation between financial systems and other data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely, accurate reconciliations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with financial and reporting systems (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, and Tableau) is highly preferred
