Requirements
  • Experience with computer components and assembly is an asset
  • Experience using standard lab equipment such as multimeters, soldering irons, hot air reflow, board pre-heaters, etc..
  • Familiarity with the use of the Linux operating system is a plus, and exposure to Python is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superhuman attention to detail and organization skills
Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly of heatsinks, water blocks, coolant loops, systems and test jigs
  • Rework of systems and boards down to the component level including QFNs and BGAs
  • Execute functional/electrical coverage testing on various boards and systems
  • Order and track lab supplies/components
  • Coordination of equipment calibration, recording of new equipment, and maintaining records
  • Bringing order to chaos in the electronics/mechanical lab environment
  • Prepare and/or maintain rework documents, coordinating as needed with external rework houses and manufacturers
