Compensation

Salary Range: $29.09 - $40.50 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Histology Technician II - One (1) Full-Time First Shift Position Available

Position Overview:The Histology Technician II is responsible for cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist to review. They are also responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in anaccurate and timely manner and maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

• One (1) year of clinical experience in histopathology OR
• Current American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnician Certification (HT)

Preferred:

• Associates Degree in a science related field
• Completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program
