Requirements
  • At least 3 years of hands-on commission management experience in a business-to-business software-as-a-service environment, Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, or Sales Finance.
  • Working knowledge of a modern commission platform such as CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Everstage, QuotaPath, or a comparable platform, ideally as an administrator or power user.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, lookups, and large-scale reconciliation work.
  • Ability to build and maintain performance dashboards, track commission metrics, and generate insights for Sales and Finance leadership decision-making.
  • Salesforce reporting and data-extraction skills, with an understanding of how opportunity data flows into commission calculations.
  • Experience with multi-component plans, including quotas, accelerators, SPIFs, management by objectives, clawbacks, and ramped quotas for new hires.
  • Clear communication skills in English for daily work with representatives, Sales leadership, and Finance.
Responsibilities
  • Run the monthly commission cycle end-to-end for the full go-to-market organization, including calculations, output validation, payout-file preparation, and payroll handoff.
  • Administer commission plans in Salesforce Spiff, including quota uploads, plan assignments, accelerator and SPIF logic, and exception handling.
  • Prepare monthly commission accrual postings, perform variance analysis, and provide input for management and investor reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A, Revenue Operations, and the Chief Revenue Officer on annual plan design, payout-scenario modeling, quota modeling, and stress-testing new plan components.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment across Finance, Sales leadership, and Revenue Operations on annual compensation-plan rollouts, mid-year SPIFs, and dispute resolution.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for commission questions, own dispute resolution, and run plan-rollout sessions for new hires.
  • Reconcile data across Salesforce, the commission tool, the human resources information system, and Finance systems.
  • Build dashboards covering attainment, payout ratios, ramp curves, and plan effectiveness to turn commission data into actionable insights for Sales and Finance leadership.
  • Maintain plan documents, standard operating procedures, and audit trails supporting internal controls and external audit requirements.
  • Automate manual steps, improve upstream data quality, and help scale the commission function as the company grows.
Desired Qualifications

  • Prior FP&A or Sales Finance experience alongside operational commission ownership.
  • Experience in HR Controlling.
  • Exposure to commission-plan design in addition to plan execution.
  • SQL skills or experience with business-intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Global Businesses Face Escalating Ai Risk, As 87% Hit By Ai Cyberattacks

87% of security professionals report that their organisation has encountered an AI-driven cyberattack in the last year, according to a new study by SoSafe, Europe’s largest security awareness and human risk management solution.The finding comes from SoSafe’s 2025 Cybercrime Trends, a comprehensive survey of 500 global security professionals as well as 100 SoSafe customers across 10 countries. It examines social engineering tactics and the escalating risks facing organisations.The report also highlights a growing global tension between the widespread adoption of AI and the inherent security risks that it can pose. Notably, 91% of all security experts anticipate a significant surge in AI-driven threats over the next three years.
