Bellese Technologies is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our distributed team on our Hospital Quality Reporting program working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal agency.
The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience as a customer-facing digital product manager in a cross-functional agile environment, ideally in the public sector, professional services or a highly regulated industry. To be successful, this person must have a deep understanding of the consulting mindset, user-centered prioritization and the ability to build trust with a wide variety of stakeholders in a complex organization. Success requires a candidate who has excellent communication, collaboration and technical product skills. This is a user-focused role, working to translate the needs of users and the business into digital product features.

Team you will be joining
- The Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR) Secure Portal is the only CMS-approved website for secure communications and health care quality data exchange between quality improvement organizations, hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes, end-stage renal disease networks and facilities, and data vendors. It provides secure data exchange to and within various CMS quality reporting programs, including Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting, Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting, Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting, Prospective Payment System-Exempt Cancer Hospital Quality Reporting, Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting, and the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program.
- As Product Manager on the Analytics team, your work will support the creation and maintenance of Claims Based Reporting and data alignment, Star ratings, and the PSI Software portion of the Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR) site. The Analytics Team is a team that focuses on providing access and alignment of data through analytics processes in support of HQR Programs.
Required qualifications
- 5 or more years as a Product Manager building digital products in a cross-functional agile environment
- Expert knowledge of agile frameworks and principles and the ability to coach and mentor peers as needed
- In-depth knowledge of the requirements management cycle with excellence in defining, writing and testing requirements, acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Superior relationship-building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments
- Exceptional communication skills across business, technical and creative stakeholders
- Proven ability driving progress in ambiguous environments
- Prior experience with:
- Operating in a client-facing consulting or contracting role
- Releasing products in a SaaS environment
- Working in the Healthcare analytics space
You have experience with
- Direct knowledge is great, but knowledge with alternative products is perfectly OK! The concepts are likely the same, and new tech can be learned.
- Formal training in a variety of agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe2+ years working on a remote team
- Experience in a rapidly growing small business or startup environment
- Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience
- Experience building digital healthcare technology products and services
- Experience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements
- Background in claims processing
- Has product knowledge of Python & R, data warehousing, data marts, ETL processing and reporting
- Healthcare experience in population health or payor experience
