Analog Devices, Inc. (“ADI”) is filing an Application for Alien Employment Certification for the below described job description:
Position: Senior Engineer, Design Verification Engineering (Chandler, Arizona)
Duties: Create and manage Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) regressions. Collaborate with analog design engineers, chip architects, and application engineers to develop a robust pre-silicon AMS Verification strategy in order to identify any bugs in the chip design phase prior to fabrication. Review product specifications, datasheets, and customer application cases in order to create chip top-level AMS verification plan. Create analog behavioral models for various circuits using systemVerilog/Verilog-AMS Real Number Modeling. Bring up the chip top-level AMS verification environment and build testbenches consisting of analog schematics and digital RTL as desired in Cadence. Create stimulus per the testcases listed in Verification plan, run AMS simulations, and document the results / simulation waveforms. Debug issues through simulation tools and track the bugs in ticketing software such as JIRA. Develop monitors and create automatic checkers for the various simulations. Develop new methodologies to improve the verification flow. Apply thorough understanding of various analog circuits such as amplifiers, comparators, oscillators, data converters, bandgaps and power management circuits such as linear regulators and switching converters. Present the AMS simulation waveforms and results during design review and support any post-silicon debug efforts. Partial telecommute benefit (2 days WFH).
Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as an Analog/Mixed Signal Verification Engineer or related occupation designing or verifying power management and auxiliary circuits at chip top-level.
Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing chip top-level Digital-Mixed Signal (DMS) and Analog/Mixed Signal (AMS) Verification using verification methodologies and tools such as Cadence Xcelium, Cadence Spectre, and Simvision; DE creating AMS Verification Plan for silicon chip from datasheet and building AMS testbenches using Cadence Virtuoso suite; DE developing Real-Number analog behavioral models using systemVerilog and/or Verilog-AMS for analog circuits; and DE in Power Management and auxiliary circuits such as switching converters, linear regulators, bandgaps, oscillators, amplifiers, filters, and data converters.
