As a Project Manager III at Rise8, you will: 

• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers.
• Drive product vision, strategy, and execution to align with company goals.
• Facilitate productive meetings, workshops, and discussions.
• Actively seek opportunities for personal and team growth.
• Apply lean product methodologies to optimize product development processes.
• Assist clients in adopting and implementing product management best practices.

Qualifications 

• Residency and Access: Must be located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and able to work regularly on-site (~3 times a week) at Los Angeles Air Force Base.
• Clearance: An active Top Secret security clearance.
• Deep Program Management Experience: Extensive, demonstrated experience managing complex programs within Space Systems Command. You have a proven track record of navigating the DoD acquisition lifecycle, ideally with direct experience in Command and Control,Space Domain Awareness, or related space defense domains.
• DoD Technical Process Fluency: You do not to be a developer, but you are fluent in the processes that govern software deployment in the DoD. You have working knowledge of the ATO process, RMF, and the fundamentals of modern software development, containerization, and CI/CD principles within a government context.
• Exceptional Communication and Collaboration Skills: You possess a demonstrated ability to communicate with precision and impact, building consensus between uniformed officers, government civilians, technical engineers, and acquisition professionals. You thrive in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Direct program experience within the Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Office.
• Familiarity with Palantir platforms (Apollo, Foundry) and their application in a DoD environment.
• Experience supporting systems across multiple security domains, including Unclassified, Secret, TS/SCI, and SAP environments.

Salary 

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $136,000 to $170,000 regardless of final candidate location within the United States. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
