Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high- and/or low-voltage systems.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and Voice over Internet Protocol.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology networking, configurations, and Internet Protocol addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope.
  • Previous experience with service ticketing processes.
  • At least one year of previous knowledge or experience in fire, closed-circuit television, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems.
  • Must have a valid United States driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities while following comprehensive installation and service documentation.
  • Organize project and service tickets, ensuring streamlined interactions and prompt updates in alignment with assignments.
  • Understand project scopes and service expectations, take accountability for assigned tasks, and deliver results.
  • Delegate tasks within the team's capabilities.
  • Mentor Level I installers when leading a team and maintain high standards while seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers as needed.
  • Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing of products before installation.
  • Configure systems and successfully commission them, providing clients with reliable and operational solutions.
