  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the Supply Chain field, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following: Utilizing Oracle or SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning); Inventory management and demand forecasting; Performing contract negotiations with vendors and using Power BI dashboards to analyze performance.
  • OR A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. One (1) year of experience in a position in the supply chain field, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following: Utilizing Oracle or SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning); Inventory management and demand forecasting; Performing contract negotiations with vendors and using Power BI dashboards to analyze performance.
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring materials are available for production according to schedule, ensuring inventory is minimized and assisting with cash management optimization.
  • Contribute towards the construction of a multiyear program of cost savings initiatives.
  • Negotiate and establish pricing and/or contracts with local suppliers with terms favorable to Curia.
  • Execute local eSourcing activities including training of suppliers and running events within the guidelines provided and assist to construct the monthly eSourcing plan.
  • Help manage the site cash effectively by ensuring the economic order quantities are appropriate, payment terms are maximized and MRP exception messages (EXDX) are regularly reviewed and executed.
  • Provide support to and collaborate with Category Management team by promoting established category strategies to internal stakeholders and ensuring that purchase orders are placed on-time and comply with strategic agreements and terms set at the local level.
  • Liaise with Quality/Regulatory departments and help to ensure supplier material is qualified on time for expected use, help prepare monthly alternate supplier qualification (ASQ) reports.
  • Help to monitor metrics & KPIs to assess the health & quality of all procurement-related activities on site, ensuring the timely delivery of services & goods, proper alignment with the Organization’s communication & contractual requirements, mitigation of risk & accurate & timely payment for goods & services.
  • Construct business cases related to plant savings for submission to & recording by the Global Procurement Organization.
  • Assist with the capture of cost savings & avoidance during purchase order placement while ensuring coordination with global & regional contracts.
  • Act as a site contact for all Procurement Operations related questions, feedback, transformations or service escalations in coordination with local Procurement Manager.
  • Help maintain Supplier Relationships & prepares related reports including Performance Management & Risk Management at a country level.
  • Assist with Contract Management (local suppliers) referring to Legal as required with assistance from Procurement Manager.
  • Identify new potential suppliers, execute Supplier Selection & conduct negotiations (country level) according to prescribed programs & category strategies.
  • Provide ERP system training to internal stakeholders.
  • Review & execute required actions on the Past Due purchase orders report daily to ensure receipt of goods & to ensure suppliers’ payment terms are not compromised.
  • Perform the day-to-day Procurement Operations at the Site, as part of a team that provides policy & process enforcement, supplier onboarding, transaction management & fiscal responsibility.
  • Execute the end-to-end process related to standard purchase order-based procure to pay process including purchase order prep and placement, change notices, coordinating supplier returns, expediting/de-expediting, past due purchase orders & invoice issue resolution.
  • Help drive continuous improvement & simplification of local procurement processes in alignment with Global Procurement operations goal to reduce the admin. burden at all Sites through elimination/automation of nonvalue-added activities.
  • Perform implementation, change management & adoption of Global Procurement standards, processes & procedures (including assisting with training to internal customers, local documentation and/or communications as required).
  • Responsible for awareness and compliance of procurement policies, processes, and systems of procurement policies, processes, and systems and compliance with those at the local & Development and maintain effective working relations with business partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
