Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with DoD stakeholders, including program managers, engineers, and end-users to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure that product development aligns with government objectives and regulations
  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, outlining key milestones, feature enhancements, and timelines for product development. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and strategic objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineering, to deliver high-quality ASV solutions on schedule and within budget. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and rapid iteration
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that ASV solutions meet DoD specifications for autonomy, security, reliability, and performance. Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify product functionality and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, including technical challenges, regulatory hurdles, and market uncertainties. Develop contingency plans and alternative strategies to address potential obstacles and ensure project success
  • Engage with DoD customers regularly to gather feedback, solicit input, and build strong relationships. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely updates and resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging technologies in the autonomous maritime industry. Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to assess new opportunities for product expansion and diversification
