Requirements
  • Current student pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Systems Engineering, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or similar field
  • Proficiency with Python and/or SQL is preferred
  • Proficiency with Tableau is preferred
  • Intellectually curious and critical thinker
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is highly preferred
  • A scrappy team player, who will actively pitch-in wherever necessary - with excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Desire and ability to function in a fast-paced small company environment with ability to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills highly engaged and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with highly collaborative team
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Prioritizes and ensures safety of one self and others
  • Ability to proactively collect, manage and transfer knowledge
  • Ability to seek different and novel ways to create efficiencies when working on problems, challenges and issues
Responsibilities
  • Identifies and develops data pipelines from internal data sources
  • Analyzes engineering documentation (e.g., part drawing, civil layouts, etc.) to assist manufacturing and operational activities
  • Maintains, recommends, and supports implementation process changes and system enhancements as necessary
  • Develops of operational reports and dashboards based on ad-hoc requests and strategic needs
  • Advises others in the company on how to create their own dashboards and reports to further self-service analytics
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to make data informed decisions with accurate information
  • Support the resolution and work through specific cross functional issues that arise and require integrated or standardized solutions
  • Support the management and tracking of priorities/issues across design, build, and test efforts to ensure success for the program
  • Other duties as assigned
