Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two to five years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to identify and address quality issues effectively through strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate quality-related information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of quality management software.
  • Proficiency with Hexagon Smart Completions.
  • Excellent command of the English language in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in multiple groups and independently when necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work extended durations, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to observe company, client, and governing-authority Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules.
  • Willingness to travel between various job sites and work across diverse locations.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with required specifications and quality standards.
  • Record and document inspection results, including measurements, deviations, and non-conformance reports.
  • Maintain organized and current records for audit purposes.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products or processes, assist with root-cause investigations, and participate in corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Support internal and external quality audits by preparing documentation, participating in audit activities, and following up on findings.
  • Inspect and test incoming materials and components from suppliers, report quality issues, and help resolve supplier-related concerns.
  • Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide input on process improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities in compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality regulations and company policies, and report safety hazards or incidents.
  • Work with engineering, production, procurement, and other cross-functional teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Assist in training new quality technicians and team members on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and quality standards.
  • Steward Smart Completions and turnover documentation.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks within the reasonable scope of the role as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or a similar field is preferred.
