Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a competitive college or university
  • Successfully demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills as well as the ability to work well under strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (required) and Spanish (preferred)
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Proficiency in Word and Power Point
  • Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
  • Monitor Club and Player compliance with Program distribution, the Minor League Online Education Program, and other Programs and Policies as may arise
  • Track and file correspondence to Club officials and players regarding drug program violations, TUE applications, and other health and safety initiatives
  • Coordinate the distribution of therapeutic use exemption (TUE) letters and maintain a comprehensive record of all TUEs including uploading copies of letters to Player testing files
  • Perform data and trend analysis of drug testing, disciplinary, and therapeutic use exemption (TUE) matters
  • Assist the Senior Coordinator and drug testing service providers (e.g., CDT and Drug Free Sport) with roster management, player location and contact protocols, and central baseball administrative functions
  • Assist the Senior Coordinator with vaccine and COVID infection tracking
  • Coordinate the review of consent forms and submission of testing requests pursuant to the Clearinghouse Program
  • Assist the Senior Coordinator with the results management of international prospects under the Clearinghouse and Trainer Partnership Programs
  • Maintain comprehensive databases and IT systems for all MLB Drug, Health and Safety Programs
  • Provide general support and assistance to Labor Relations staff upon request
  • Admin support for mental health programs and initiatives
  • Support development of relevant education programs
