Requirements
  • 1+ years of apparel/equipment industry experience related to trims and/or materials
  • Degree or diploma in Materials Science, Textile Technology, Product or Textile Design or equivalent industry experience
  • Passion for data engineering and organization
  • Skills in digital data programs such as Microsoft Excel and cloud-based information
  • Interest and general understanding of textile manufacturing
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks within tight deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring data integrity across all systems including Centric PLM, material trackers, and libraries
  • Preparing seasonal material validation tech packs for handoff to Quality team ensuring calendar deadlines are met
  • Scheduling cross functional and supplier meetings
  • Supporting with internal or external testing and evaluating textiles
  • Overhauling historical data in the Product Line Management system
  • Preparing digital and physical material boards for seasonal stage gate reviews
  • Coordinating reporting and metrics for the RMD manager
  • Maintaining lab equipment maintenance schedules
  • Developing Design facing seasonal material briefs
  • Contributing to cross functional discussions with designers, merchants, and suppliers
  • Developing a holistic knowledge of product categories to apply material solutions
