Requirements
- Currently pursuing degree in a Computer Science, Robotics, or other related discipline
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++
- Experience with robotic planning and real-time control
- Comfortable working in the Linux environment
- Familiarity with physics simulation environments for robotics, such as Gazebo or IsaacSim, is helpful
- Experience with source control (git)
- Enjoys learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as well as teaching them to others
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time control software for autonomous guided vehicles
- Use physics-based simulation packages to test and optimize robot behaviors
- Develop path planning algorithms for manipulation and robot navigation
- Work with bot controls test team to evaluate and debug robot behavior and performance
- Develop high quality code and packages following software engineering best practices
