Requirements
  • A valid Class 3 driver's licence and current driver's abstract are required.
  • Valid Standard First Aid certification and H2S Alive certification are required.
  • The candidate must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and a physical fitness assessment.
  • The candidate must be physically able to perform demanding field work in all weather, including rig up and rig out.
  • The candidate must be willing to work a 15-day-on, 6-day-off rotation and remain on call 24 hours a day while on shift.
  • The candidate must be able to travel and stay overnight outside Grande Prairie when required.
Responsibilities
  • Drive service equipment to and from the wellsite.
  • Assist with rig up and rig out in all weather conditions.
  • Service, clean, and maintain tools and equipment in the field and shop.
  • Keep the shop organized and equipment job-ready between calls.
  • Follow the supervisor's direction on every job.
  • Follow site safety procedures, permits, and hazard assessments.
  • Remain available on call 24 hours a day during the 15-day rotation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous slickline, wireline, or oilfield service experience may qualify the candidate for a higher level and higher pay.
  • Experience driving heavy service units on lease roads and in winter conditions.
  • Additional safety tickets such as Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, or Ground Disturbance.
