- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and documentation skills.
- Strong knowledge in SQL, VB scripting, quality assurance processes, data modeling tools, business intelligence tools, and supply chain.
- Analytic problem-solving approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent (MS degree a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in requirement gathering (IT/Non-IT), BRD, FRD, JAD, RUP, UML, SDLC, Scrum, project management tools, data modeling tools, BI tools, and supply chain.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in Banking, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, or Ecommerce is preferred.
- Requirement gathering (functional and non-functional).
- Preparation of use cases and documentation of business requirements (Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Document).
- Presentations to the client about the progress of the project.
- Understanding and applying SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Rational Unified Process; UML.
- Designing new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- MS degree in Computer Science or Business Administration (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Two to four years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in Banking, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, or Ecommerce is preferred.
