Requirements
  • undergraduate or graduate student
  • Strong interest in data sciences, bioinformatics, and electronics
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or Rust in a Linux environment
  • Interest in NGS data analysis, manipulation, visualization skills, and presentation
  • Basic understanding of molecular biology
  • Demonstrated skills in basic data analysis with Python
  • Strong programming skills, experience in Python or C++ preferred
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics tools, databases, and technology
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics or recent graduate within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and implementing a data analysis pipeline for DNA Data Storage synthesis quality control workflow
  • Providing statistics, data analysis, and visualization to support pipeline results
  • Working on projects in data sciences, bioinformatics, or electronics
  • Contributing to the design and testing of DNA chips and related hardware
  • Performing data analysis and interpretation to support ongoing research projects
