Requirements
  • The candidate must have 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, 2 years of work experience with a PhD, or 11 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • The candidate must have experience in AI product development, technology platforms, and engineering.
  • The candidate must have experience in AI product management, including designing, managing, and launching AI products.
  • The candidate must have experience in business intelligence, AI systems classification, metadata management, regulatory compliance, and building and implementing AI explainability and fairness tools.
  • The candidate must have experience maturing AI product capabilities and defining policies, controls, and frameworks.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively within a large, matrixed organization.
  • The candidate must have experience synthesizing complex information to produce management information and support informed risk-reward and cost-benefit decision-making.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of an AI Observatory platform product to monitor, assess, and report on the performance, risks, and compliance of AI systems.
  • Define the functional and technical requirements for the AI Observatory platform.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for monitoring AI system performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to integrate AI risk and compliance considerations into the AI Observatory product.
  • Track emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in AI and related compliance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the AI Observatory and AI product development.
  • Design, implement, and oversee processes and system capabilities to maintain a comprehensive inventory of AI systems within the AI Observatory.
  • Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments, and lead design sessions and user story workshops to align solutions with business needs.
  • Perform discovery with business and technical experts to maintain an accurate baseline of AI inventory and developing AI projects at Visa.
  • Oversee AI systems and capabilities going into production and ensure that appropriate documentation is in place and maintained.
  • Work with partners in Data and AI Governance, Risk, Technology, Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy, and other key stakeholder groups to address business challenges.
  • Partner with business and technical staff to diagnose issues and create improvement suggestions.
  • Leverage large data sets to provide insight-driven decision-making support and reporting for strategic initiatives.
  • Travel 5-10% of the time.
