Requirements
  • One of the following is required: classroom teaching experience, or 1–3 years in a sales, marketing, customer success, or go-to-market role at an education, educational technology, or curriculum company.
  • A working understanding of the K–12 curriculum market is required, including how districts evaluate, pilot, and adopt curriculum.
  • Strong, clear writing is required, with the ability to translate complex ideas for educator and district-leader audiences.
  • The candidate must be organized, reliable, coachable, comfortable executing well, willing to ask questions, and genuinely interested in learning product marketing.
  • The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and variety on a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
  • Produce launch and sales enablement materials, including one-pagers, slide decks, frequently asked questions, and email copy, from established messaging and clear direction.
  • Support go-to-market execution for the Inkwell launch and across the portfolio by keeping deliverables moving, tracking timelines, and coordinating work to keep launches on schedule.
  • Talk to educators and district leaders; run customer and win/loss interviews, gather customer stories, and synthesize findings so the team can act on them.
  • Bring real-world understanding of educators and buyers into discussions and pressure-test materials and messaging for effectiveness with the people who use and choose curriculum.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence by tracking what other curriculum companies are doing and keeping it organized and current for the team.
  • Draft copy and messaging grounded in how educators and district leaders think, refining it with the team.
