- At least 4 years of hands-on SAP development experience with ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS views, BTP, or SAP integration technologies such as BAPIs and RFC.
- Experience building integrations using file-based and API-based patterns, including REST, OData, and SOAP.

- Experience with infrastructure as code using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation, including writing, deploying, and reviewing infrastructure as code in a team setting.
- Demonstrated heavy use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Bedrock in daily engineering workflows for code generation, data analysis, automation, and problem-solving.
- Experience testing and debugging APIs using tools such as Bruno or Postman, including building request collections, handling authentication flows, and validating response contracts.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 authorization flows, including authorization code and client credentials, and OpenID Connect for securing API integrations.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns, including Factory, Strategy, Observer, and Template Method, and SOLID principles.
- Finance domain knowledge, including familiarity with FI/CO, FI/CA, AP, AR, or GL.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between SAP, including S/4HANA and BTP, and downstream systems, owning the full lifecycle from design through operations.
- Write ABAP, SAP HANA SQL, and CDS views to implement business logic, reports, and data transformations within the SAP ecosystem.
- Design, build, and maintain SAP APIs, including OData services using SEGW or RAP, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and RFC-based interfaces, for external systems, Fiori applications, and AWS-hosted middleware.
- Build and operate AWS-native services, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, and Amazon ECR, to extend SAP capabilities.
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK with TypeScript or Python, including CI/CD pipelines, IAM roles, VPC/VPCE connectivity to SAP, and beta, gamma, and production environments.
- Design, build, and ship agentic AI systems, including MCP servers, Bedrock-based agents, and Claude-powered workflows, to automate Finance operations such as reconciliations, reporting, variance analysis, and payout workflows.
- Build data pipelines that move financial data between SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions across SAP and AWS.
- Own production systems end to end, including deployment, monitoring, incident response, and iterative improvement.
- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
- Experience building AI-powered automations or agentic workflows in production, including MCP servers, Bedrock agents, or LangGraph.
- Experience building Fiori applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model, including business object definition, behavior implementation, and service binding or exposure.
- Experience in S/4HANA embedded analytics.
