IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales - Team Lead to join our sales leadership team. #LI-TL2

The ideal candidate understands the changing K-12 landscape and has experience motivating teams with creative strategy and high performance standards. We’re looking for a manager with the ability to lead and inspire sales teams while handling IXL’s rapid growth.

This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Provide leadership to a highly skilled team of 3 inside sales consultants to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization
Develop a keen understanding of IXL and how to position our company to a K-12 prospects needs and values
Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching throughout the sales process with collaborative idea and strategy sharing.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-evaluation.
Track, forecast, budget, and monitor sales pipeline
Meet sales goals on a consistent basis

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BA/BS degree in an Education related or similar field
Educational Technology sales background
Complete understanding of the K-12 market
3+ years of experience in sales - experience in sales management a plus
Passion for bringing technology into the classroom
Familiarity with web-based technologies
Direct classroom experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
