Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company’s comprehensive communications strategy, creating a distinctive and impactful narrative that aligns with business objectives.
  • Design and implement multi-faceted comms campaigns to solidify the company’s leadership position in the on-demand pay and financial wellness sectors.
  • Partner with the brand research leader to transform user, client, and public data into compelling, newsworthy research and thought leadership that resonates with key audiences, including media, clients, investors, and regulators.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across business, technology, finance, and HR media.
  • Serve as the company’s lead liaison with HCM/Payroll industry analysts, managing relationships and securing favorable briefings and coverage.
  • Proactively identify and pitch compelling stories to secure high-impact media placements.
  • Serve as the strategic communications partner to the CEO and C-suite, providing counsel, and elevating their presence as a visionary leader in the industry.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality written content, including press releases, white papers, first-person executive op-eds, talking points, and Q&As.
  • Strategically identify and secure high-profile speaking opportunities for company executives to amplify our mission and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to develop powerful narratives and talk tracks for executive appearances at panels, keynotes, and fireside chats.
  • Oversee the CEO’s social media presence, creating and curating relevant content that reinforces our brand and thought leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a team of publicists and communications professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and strategic execution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Public Policy team and Corporate Communications team to develop a strategic narrative and earned media strategy targeted at key government regulators and policymakers.
  • Partner with the Corporate Communications team on crisis communication plans and to develop media strategies that integrate into broader 360-degree communication strategies that reach all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the lead communications liaison for partners, clients, and industry associations, driving joint announcements, bylined articles, and media pitches.
  • Write key internal communications for the CEO, including speeches, opening remarks, and Q&As for company-wide events like monthly town halls.
  • Devise and execute a comprehensive awards strategy to secure third-party validation and recognition for our industry leadership.
  • Oversee the company podcast, including identifying, pitching, and scheduling high-caliber guests such as clients, partners, industry leaders, and policymakers.

  • Experience in fintech, HR Tech, or high-growth B2B Software-as-a-Service environments is preferred.

DailyPay expands secured credit facility to $960M, surpasses $1B in total debt financing

DailyPay, a leading on-demand pay platform, has closed a $200 million upsizing of its secured credit facility, bringing total committed capacity to $960 million. The expansion includes existing lending partners Barclays, Citi and TPG Credit, alongside new participants TD Bank Group and Royal Bank of Canada. The upsizing pushes DailyPay's total debt financing backed by on-demand pay receivables past $1 billion, including a securitisation completed in June 2025. The facility will finance additional on-demand pay transfers as the platform continues growing. DailyPay's platform allows employees to access earned wages before payday whilst helping employers improve workforce engagement and retention. Chief financial officer Deepa Subramanian said the expansion reflects strong confidence in the company's employer-partnered business model.
