Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to initiate and develop agent relationships while providing superior service to agents who are not already working with Ritter. The role involves developing strategic plans and marketing campaigns for agent recruitment within the assigned territory, initiating agent relationships, reaching annual/quarterly benchmarks for new agent contracts and production, and assisting agents with the Ritter Platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review year over year Medicare Supplement production.
Develop strategic plan and marketing campaigns for agent recruitment within assigned territory.
Maintain relationships with Medicare Supplement carriers.
Attend/Host Medicare Supplement meetings and calls.
Work as a liaison between Sales staff and Medicare Supplement carriers to resolve escalated agent/agency issues; function as an internal resource for all things Medicare Supplement related
Manage Ritter Medicare Supplement agent incentives.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of all Medicare Supplement products and basic knowledge of supporting products and how they work alongside Medicare Supplement products.
Understanding of Medicare insurance and agent relationship.
Familiarity with Sales, Marketing, Contracting, and New Business operations and procedures.
Strong knowledge of all products in assigned territory.
Experience as an Agent Sales Assistant or Team Support Coordinator for a year, if no prior experience.
Proficiency in communication, especially over the phone.
Competence in computer and typing skills.
Excellence in customer service skills.
Possession of soft sales skills.
Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including email, copy machine, scanner, fax machine, and telephone.
Willingness to travel as required.
Physical ability to perform sedentary work, sit most of the time, and exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
