Requirements
  • Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience.
  • For refrigeration work, hands-on experience and any certifications or licenses required by the state.
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the company's safety standards.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • A satisfactory background check and drug screening.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including overnight and weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • The ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
  • The ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
  • The ability to work in hot environments and handle exposure to hot grease from fryers.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork for every job, including parts orders, work orders, and timesheets, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with customers about required repairs and repair status.
  • Use appropriate hand tools and power tools for repairs.
  • Monitor vehicle stock to ensure required parts are available.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms.
  • Travel extensively each day to work sites, with possible weekend and night assignments.
