What believers are saying

  • Pamela Agnone became CEO in June 2025, giving UNFCU fresh leadership for execution.
  • UNFCU Foundation awarded $795K to 21 partners in 2026, reinforcing mission-driven member loyalty.
  • Assets, deposits, and loans all grew in 2025, signaling healthy demand and retention.

What critics are saying

  • Membership depends on UN-system mobility, relocations, and separations that can stall growth quickly.
  • Sanctions and eligibility rules exclude some consultants and countries, limiting expansion and creating compliance friction.
  • Digital banking is central; a major outage or cyber incident would damage trust across 260,000 members.

  • It surpassed $10.2 billion in assets in 2025 while keeping risk-based capital at 18.23%.
