Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • One to two or more years of experience in a marketing or communications agency environment is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • The ability to work in a detail-oriented manner and multitask is required.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and management of project activities, including audience generation, internet research on medical associations and industry events, database management, logistics management, registration and participant communication, materials production, honoraria and reimbursement processing, supplier performance, routing materials through copy editing, and central file establishment.
  • Participate in project start-up meetings, help establish and maintain time and event schedules, and provide weekly initiative updates to Project Managers.
  • Use Microsoft Access for key opinion leader management, mail merges, faculty information requests, and report generation.
  • Support Project Managers on assigned projects by managing and fulfilling requested tasks, adhering to deadlines, and escalating workload or deadline risks to obtain prioritization or assistance.
  • Maintain timely and professional written and verbal communications with internal team members, clients, faculty, and participants regarding assigned project areas.
  • Contribute to new project budgets and new business development activities within the account team as identified by Project Managers.
  • Learn and contribute to budgeting, including financial monitoring and reconciliation of individual projects within account teams.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary internal teams to support within-budget, on-time, and on-strategy performance.
  • Maintain and adhere to client policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist account teams with copying, filing, mailing or shipping, and mail merge management.
  • Coordinate central fill procedures.
  • Maintain the group calendar and schedule meetings when requested.
  • Contribute to PowerPoint presentations and written proposals when requested.
  • Develop knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education.
  • Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical, healthcare, or similar industry is preferred.
  • Communications or business is a preferred field of study for the Bachelor's degree.
