Requirements
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant industry or academic experience, or relevant Master's Degree plus 2 years of relevant industry or academic experience, or 9 years of practical experience.
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS, modern CSS techniques, and responsive web development.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or Cypress for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility (a11y) standards and best practices, such as WCAG 2.
  • Experience with JavaScript build tools and bundlers such as Vite, Webpack, and Rollup.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
  • Build a best-in-class Point Of Sale system for Local Game Stores, used by thousands of customers domestically and internationally, allowing them to profitably grow their business in an omni-channel environment.
  • Lead the development of frontend architecture and design, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive web applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
  • Learn the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, integrating best practices into the development process.
  • Contribute to the improvement of TCGplayer’s Design Language System, driving innovation, efficiency, and cohesiveness across our tooling.
