Requirements
  • High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of experience in administrative, clerical, ticket management, or general office work.
  • Knowledge of types of micromobility.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software programs.
  • Keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to identify work priorities.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to drive a state vehicle to travel to various parts of campus.
  • Ability to work as an essential employee when the University declares an emergency, campus closure, class cancellation, or similar event.
  • This position is security sensitive and requires a criminal history investigation.
  • Ability to comply with applicable state and federal laws and codes and Texas A&M University System and University policies, regulations, rules, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties safely in compliance with System and University safety requirements.
  • Ability to maintain required university training compliance and complete related administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
  • Perform intake and assignment of work requests as they enter the Sustainable Transportation ticketing system.
  • Ensure tickets are assigned expeditiously and service requests are fulfilled.
  • Curate tickets to ensure they are addressed and closed.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, relay information, and provide assistance according to departmental guidelines.
  • Ensure callers and messages are communicated to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.
  • Contact University Police Department dispatch when electric micromobility devices are impounded and provide detailed device information if a device is reported stolen.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Experience managing ticket systems and administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of the university layout and building locations or identifiers.
  • Working knowledge of University SAP 24.01.99.M0.01 regarding the use of personal electric vehicles and other wheeled forms of transportation, as well as Transportation Services micromobility regulations.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record, or the ability to obtain a State of Texas Class C vehicle operator's license within 30 days of employment.
